You know what? I love this chair and surprised nobody else does.

I've had this chair for about 4 years now. I got it a year before my daughter was born, because my old chair was some old office chair my Mom brought home one day, because it was free. My wife got it for me as a big surprise that she saved up months for, because we were broke AF at the time and I just wanted a decent chair to sit on while I played my games.

Well let me tell you. 4 years later, the only damage is the leather on my left armrest pad has been chipped away for some reason, and that's it. This chair is abused like you couldn't believe. My two year old hangs on the arms, she pulls the back down to get my attention and tries swinging on it, she'll climb the chair and try to straddle the top of it while I play games. She'll jump on it, spin it, everything! This soon to be 3 year old has been a menace, and damn it this chair has stood up to the abuse like a champ!

Not to mention it's comfortable as hell. Is it a plush soft chair? Hell no! I don't love this chair because I sink into it. I love it because it's hard. I'm a journeyman of two trades, and currently going to school to be an Aviation Mechanic. My current career is HVAC, so I spend 6 to 14 hour days working my ass off, and all I can imagine doing during the drive home is sitting in this chair and playing some kerbal. My back issues have cleared way up since getting this chair andI absolutely LOVE the the magnetic head pillow. (It's so comfortable.) The back support is great here. This chair takes the pressure off my body after a hard day of lifting and contorting myself into weird positions to access panels and it's great.

Are the people that hate on Secret Lab just a bunch of white collar softiess? (For lack of a better term. I apologize.) I mean, yeah, these seats aren't soft. They're not meant to be. They're meant to keep your posture up and to prevent the classic "gamer slouch" and all issues associated with it, and they do a great job at it.

Idk, maybe it's just me, but I'm in love with this chair and will grab a new one when my daughter inevitably snaps it off its hinge and possibly severs my spinal cord along with it.
