I'm a drummer who got frustrated with existing metronome apps, so I built my own with 15+ rhythm training modules
I've been playing drums for years and always felt like standard metronome apps were too basic — just a click at a fixed tempo. I wanted tools to actually train rhythm: polyrhythms, metric modulation, subdivisions, odd time signatures, that kind of thing.
So I ended up building my own. It started as a simple click and grew into a set of rhythm-training modules — things like a rhythm reader (sheet music that highlights notes in time), a polymeter tool, metric modulation, a subdivision sequencer, and a few others.
I'm not here to do a sales pitch — honestly I'd love feedback from other drummers/musicians on what rhythm-training features you wish existed. What's missing from the metronome apps you've tried? What would actually help your practice?
(Happy to share the link if anyone's curious, but mostly I want to hear what you'd want from something like this.)
