Advice?
I am currently an RMA working in Pediatrics Neurology. I have my associates in applied science and working on my Bachelor's in Behavioral Science. I was originally planning on getting my Masters in Clinical Mental Health to work with my Pediatric Neuropsychologist to help bring assessment and testing we desperately need in our area. However, our head of peds neurology who I work with and honestly all the neurology providers I work with, have me thinking that I can do PA instead, and then specialize in developmental pediatrics. I will have to take one year between finishing my bachelor's (online) and applying/starting PA bc i need to take my science with labs in person. So talk to me. Anyone do peds as a PA and especially developmental? Its what I want 100% I have the support with Peds Neurologists and Neuropyschologist. I would definitely come y9 work in the clinic im currently in as an RMA. But...can I do this?
