Squerk genning on Platinum Kaizo

Hi all, not really sure where to ask this, has anyone been following Squerks current platinum kaizo run? He's on stream now saying his run was flagged by the anti cheat because he genned in a Pokemon using pkhex. Does anyone know why?

People are asking him in chat but he just keeps saying it was because he "doesn't know how to read", which seems like a complete non sequitur. I'm assuming there's some kind of reasonable explanation for why he did it, but I don't want to go back through hours of vods to find the moment it happened, and all he's saying right now is that it's because he didn't read something properly., which again, doesn't explain anything unless you're familiar with what happened.

Does anyone here know the story behind it?
