Ruby #A5759235 is urgent at the Castaic animal care center and is a sweetheart who is lower in energy and good with other calm large dogs. She'd make a good movie night cuddle buddy since she's on the calmer side. Ruby is 5 years young and is a pittie with a beautiful reddish coat. Her floppy ears are adorable too!
She walks well on a leash and has the cutest smile.
She comes out of her shell when you show her that you're a kind human.
Since Ruby is unsure at the shelter, she isn't getting much attention and staff say she needs to exit right away.
SOS
Shelter says she needs to go to an adults only home because they think kids could be overwhelming for her. She hasn't displayed any concerning behavior however.

Ruby barks a little in her kennel and doesn't always approach visitors. She warms up once out in the play yard and enjoys treats and affection.
Please come meet Ruby.
You can come meet Ruby right away. No appointment needed!
