Almost at year 1, having bad cramps

Hi!
I got my Mirena placed July of last year and my period slowly tapered off. I’d have light spotting in the middle of the month that then trended towards the end of the month. Only recently I have had 2 separate “periods” in March, and now this month with rough cramps, back pain, but only clearish sticky blobs and some brown spotting. Is this normal at almost 1 year?
This one started early, instead of later in the month as well.
I messaged my gyno and she said we could think about other forms, but other than these 2 times where it’s been an odd period I do not want to switch methods. She also knows I’m sensitive to meds, which I am just hoping that’s the case.
