Maybe this is a dumb thing to complain about, but I’m genuinely struggling with it.

The season has only been out for what.. maybe 4 days??! And I’m already seeing people with every SINGLE Sprite collected.

They have their battle passes finished, multiple amounts of crown wins, and their level is insane. Bro they have everything figured out. Meanwhile, I just hopped on and feel like I’ve barely got shiet.

I know the obvious answer is “stop comparing yourself to other people,” or fking “sKiLl iSsUE” but it’s hard not to complain get beat up. Every time I load into a game or scroll through Fortnite content, it feels like everyone is miles ahead of me and I’m nothing. It’s making me not want to play anymore.

I’m a little sister at the end of the day, and I used to play Call of Duty® with my older brother. For me, it feels like Fortnite is all I’ve got right now to hold onto that energy and it feels like in comparison to the rest of the world, I’m not even good enough at the game to even play.

It genuinely breaks my heart. I want to be good at it so bad, I want to be considered a professional. I want people to see my username and get a little “scared” to play me or giggle when they die because my name is ‘Jesus’ if said correctly…

But I can’t kind of do that when everybody else is already what feels like 5000 years ahead.

The thing is that it doesn’t make me want to grind harder anymore at all, it does the opposite. It makes me feel like I’m so far behind that there’s no point even trying to catch up. I’m about to just uninstall and settle on Minecraft.. But I don’t want to do that. I’m stuck.

I think part of it is that I really want to be considered a good player like I said above.

Not necessarily a pro or anything, but good enough that I feel like I’m keeping up with everyone else. When it feels like people have already completed half the season before I’ve even settled into it, it kind of kills my motivation.

The season JUST started.. Do you guys not have any family to talk to?

But like does anyone else deal with this and How do you stop comparing your progress to people who seem to play Fortnite like it’s a full-time job?

Because right now I’m finding it harder to enjoy the game than I expected, and that honestly sucks. 😕

idk I’m going to go girly cry about it and hope i get better. or i’ll just uninstall it sooner or later. God bless to those who listened to my rant.

Does anyone else get demotivated seeing how far ahead everyone is already?
