How can i make money online like an actual job while being under 21?
PLEASE STAY TILL THE END!!! IT MAY SOUND LIKE A VENT BUT I AM ASKING FOR ONLINE JOB ADVICE BUT YOU NEED THE CONTEXT TO GO WITH IT. I REALLY NEED HELP SO PLEASE DONT BE RUDE I JUST WANT THE ADVICE!!!
Im 17 and my parents wont let me get an actual job. Its so frustrating. My parents treat me as their personal babysitter that is available at the snap of a finger.
I originally worked for my dad who has his own business, I would paint his products anf I made quite a bit, and sometimes I would help work at his events and make money there. But they never really paid me on time, weve always been a bit strapped for cash so sometimes id have to wait weeks or even months to get a paycheck. Which always frustrated me but I understood we needed money to keep the house up
So when my dad quit his business i figured this was perfect. I could finally go out and get a "real" job. Work somewhere local like a wingstop or one of the bookstores i love. But my mom has her own business as well and keeps it running. My dad helps her for events and my mom is telling me they will not let me get a job because i need to babysit my brother when they need it. Notmally id be fine with this but he is 12. Hes going into middle school whoch i think is old enough to watch himself for a few hours. Im going to be gone next year anyways and want to get a headstart on saving for a place to move out and fixing my car.
but they wont let me get a job.
What are some ways i can earn money online like a real job would. Im 17 and the only thing I can think of is working online but I dont know what to do or where to start. Maybe side hustles or places I can sell things im not sure I just need a way to make money online and im not sure how.
Usually I woukd wait until im 18 when they csnt prevent me from getting a job anymore but im going crazy and hoping reddit will do it's thing and show this to people who have solutions.
