Night life

Don’t really know the area that well but I’m looking for good bars to go out at to around Mount prospect / Arlington heights / Des plaines or around this area. Looking for a popular spots, good music, good atmosphere, spot to meet new people /make new friends, just anything really. Any recommendations?
