Skyrim Vr vs Skyrim Special Edition for VR NSFW mods

Hi!

I recently got a Quest 3 so naturally i'd like to check out the nsfw modding scene i've seen videos off. I already own Skyrim Special Edition so is it nessesary to get the VR version on steam or does the old SSE work fine for VR?
