would a 1997 Honda accord EX Sedan 4D be a wise purchase, even with it being nearly 30yrs old?

been browsing online for my first car and came across a 1997 Honda accord EX Sedan 4D for $2,500 and it only has 59,768 miles--which seems extremely good for a honda. the thing is, it is nearly 30 years old so what im wondering is if it would be outdated in terms of safety. The descripton says it has no issues other than that the power steering pump needs to be bled.

other cars ive been considering are a 2010 Hyundai Accent GLS Sedan 4D, 97k miles, $4300. Newer (obviously) and description mentions recent spark plug change and oil change, well maintained.

  • this one would be pretty nice but as of right now for me 4300 dollars (and insurance) is not an amount i really want to spend

ive also come across a 2002 Hyundai accent GS Hatchback 2D with 107k miles for $1800, not much thought in this one other than its newer and cheap

and then theres also a 2003 Lexus ES 300 Sedan 4D for $3600 with 160k miles, while i do think this one would be great due to it being a lexus, its gas mileage isnt as good and there's a broken side mirror, which wasn't mentioned it the description, but after messaging the seller they say theres no other issues (but i am cautious)
