35 year old stay-at-home mom desperate for someone to talk to

I'm listening to my kids having fun together, running around the house (something they're not supposed to do, but whatever for now) and it just gives me envy for them and those good days of childhood. Adulthood is a lonely trap, at least for me; maybe I can find a real friend or two on here.

Forewarning -- contrary to some beliefs, being a stay at home parent is a full time job. I may be able to be online a bunch one day. I may not have that leisure the next day. I have kids and a house to take care of, and that's the bare minimum. If you can at least acknowledge the fact that I'm not online 24/7, you can just stop reading now. Seriously. Go.

Another warning -- this is going to be a friend-zone chat. I am married. I have no interest whatsoever in romance. I may become close friends with you (which, like I said, is kinda what I want/need right now). But close friends know each other's boundaries. Respect is a two-way thing.

Now that those super long (but super needed) paragraphs are out of the way, hi. I'm a 35 year old SAHM from the east coast (EST). While watching my kids, I try to find time to read, craft things (I recently got a Cricut and my husband has a 3D printer), thrift shop (and no, Goodwill isn't considered a thrift shop to me anymore), and overall just learn new things. I have four pets -- three cats and one dog. I'm also a neat freak, which completely clashes with having kids. I like having interesting conversations when I have the time, but there are always times that just a casual "hey, how you doing, talk to you later" work as well.

So if you're still here, feel free to DM me with something interesting to respond to. Tell me something interesting about yourself. Tell me a fact that most people don't know. Don't just message me with the same old "hey, how you doing today?" because 9.5/10 of those conversations seem to end in less than a day due to lack of interest. And if we do end up clicking as friends, I might be okay with shifting our conversation to Discord.

So, yeah. Sorry about the long post. Peace, everyone ✌️
