Surgery rescheduled due to lingering cold symptoms. The wait continues.

my t11-12 decompession/fusion surgery was scheduled for Monday June 15th but I caught a cold last week. I feel slightly better but there is a lingering productive cough and I told the office and they want to reschedule to later date likely August - September.

Not going to lie I do regret mentioning my cold because I’m on the tail end of it and feel like I can be better by Monday by thinning the rest of the mucus but they don’t want to risk it.

This is just a reminder to wear a mask a few weeks prior to surgery to prevent getting sick. I wish I did, now I have to wait longer and hope my Spinal cord compression symptoms doesn’t worsen by then.
