Is fret buzz more noticable on electric guitars?

Hello,

I just purchased a Squire Stratocaster Classic Vibe 50s, The guitar is great overall but when I play the F chord I notice a little bit of fret buzz. Is this normal? I don't notice that buzz when I play the same chord on my acoustic. It's really bothering me, since I play clean.

It's not extremely noticable through the amp, however it's cause for concern about technique if I am the only one who experiences this. I feel as if it's a me problem over a guitar problem, as this guitar wasn't exactly "budget" despite the squire name on the headstock.
