October Elopment

My fiancé and I are thinking of planning a very small elopement in St. Thomas this October, just the two of us! We aren’t experienced travelers, so I’m feeling a little overwhelmed and would love some advice from those who know the island well.

We’ve been considering Bolongo Bay and their all-inclusive package, but we’re still open to other ideas. I’ve searched through the group and found some helpful information, but I’d really appreciate hearing firsthand experiences, especially from anyone who has visited or gotten married in October.

One of my biggest concerns is the weather. I know October is part of hurricane season, but is it still realistic to expect beach days, swimming, and getting out on the water? I’m trying not to overthink it, but I’d love honest feedback from people who have actually been there during that time of year.

I’m also looking for recommendations for a wedding planner, photographer, and beautiful ceremony locations. We’re not tied to getting married at the resort and would be happy to have our ceremony elsewhere if that’s a better option.
