How should I go down on my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year. I’ve never really gone down on him. It’s not that I don’t want to. Even after all this time together, I’m still worried I’m going to make a fool of myself.

It’s definitely not because I don’t find him attractive. My boyfriend is the most beautiful man I’ve ever met. I’m just scared that I won’t be able to please him that way.

Lately, though, I’ve been feeling kind of guilty. He’s been asking me to touch him more, and he’s curious why I never initiate sex. I haven’t told him that it still makes me shy.

When we have sex, it’s usually missionary or doggy style, so I’m never really the one in charge. That’s been the dynamic throughout our whole relationship. Until recently, I thought that was how he liked it. Apparently, that’s not the case.

Could I get some advice about being more confident and taking charge sexually?
