Any thoughts on the MSI MAG A1000GLS?
As a follow up to my post on whether 1000w PSU would suffice, I began looking around for PSUs and stumbled upon this for £105 on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BV6VYFQM
In theory this has all the connections I need (albeit using a splitter from the 12V-2x6 port) , A-GLS is rated A- on the list but I'm not seeing much discussion/reviews on it and from what I understand this is their 'mid tier' range.
Does anyone have any input on this? I've also been eyeing Corsair (e.g. RM1000x which is currently £163 on Amazon) but that's currently allot more expensive and apparently those have been hit or miss as well judging by other comments.
For reference, the rest of the system is:
AMD 5900XT
Nvidia 3090
2x Samsung 980 Pro
1x WD HDD
7x fans (including AIO)
Asrock Extreme 4 X570
I know that 1000w is more than I may actually need but I'd like some extra capacity as a precaution.
Also the system is in a different room to my monitor, so fan noise isn't as much of a concern.
Thank you.
