Grooming anxiety

How do you get over seeing your dog anxious to get groomed? Ours is only 9months old and he will likely get more used to it as time goes on. But I have such weird feelings around it. Maybe it’s like having a kid needing to get a shot? Any tips are appreciated. I think I’m just really sensitive to our pup’s sensitivity! Is it normal for them to be a bit out of sorts the day of the grooming? Like doesn’t want the normal cuddles?
