Cycling after sesamoidectomy

For anyone who has had a sesamoidectomy- have you been able to get back to cycling with cleats? I am 4 weeks out of fibular sesamoidectomy and just unsure how to progress back into cycling/ would love to hear what others did. Or is anyone has experience getting back to swimming? I know to wait until the incision site is entirely healed (was given 6 weeks as indicator).

Really any guidance with a timeline for going back to athletics is great please!
