My doctor doesn’t know why I have painful joint inflammation

Ive been experiencing painful joint inflammation in my knees, elbows, and wrists since I was 18 years old. I’ve had pain flair ups in my knees since I was a young child. It usually occurs at night and either when there’s been a big change in weather or during winter months. I’ve noticed recently that there’s nodules growing in the middle joints of 4 of my fingers.
I went to my doctor and they did blood panel work and the ANA (antinuclear antibodies) came back positive but my doctor says it was on the low side and doesn’t mean anything.
Mu doctor flat out said they don’t what’s causing these symptoms, to keep monitoring the inflammation, and they‘ll run more tests when the pain becomes worse.
Should I get another opinion?
