Dream Air arrived defective. Almost 2 months later, still no solution from Pimax
My Dream Air has had serious connection issues since day one. The headset constantly disconnects and reconnects, causing the displays to repeatedly go black and come back on. It's impossible to use it reliably.
I contacted Pimax support immediately after receiving the headset and followed every troubleshooting step they suggested. Nothing fixed the issue.
Eventually, support decided to send replacement parts. However, instead of replacing the entire headset, they only sent a replacement arm assembly. After removing the original assembly, I found that reinstalling it was far more difficult than expected, and it still didn't solve the original problem.
What really frustrates me is the support experience.
I was told multiple times that shipping information would be available within 3 days. That never happened. It's now been almost two months and I still don't have a working headset or a clear resolution.
Communication has also been incredibly slow. Many times I send an update through the ticket system and then wait 3–4 days, sometimes longer, for any response. It often feels like I'm being ignored unless I keep pushing for updates.
At this point:
The headset arrived defective.
All troubleshooting steps have failed.
The replacement process has dragged on for nearly two months.
Promised timelines were not met.
Support responses are consistently delayed.
I still don't have a functional Dream Air.
I was genuinely excited about this headset, but the after-sales support experience has been extremely disappointing.
For a premium headset at this price point , waiting nearly two months without a working product is simply unacceptable.
