Questions about giveaways

Okay so, I would LOVE to host a giveaway. I've kinda done some before but relatively small. But what I'm wondering is, small or large, what do you look for in giveaways? Specific items? Bells? Materials? I'd love to get insight so I can prepare a giveaway in the future!
