Seat upgrade?

I already upgraded a seat from main to comfort but was hoping to upgrade again to 1st. I know that Delta usually only allows one upgrade but I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any luck with upgrading a second time. I had meant to upgrade to 1st in the first place but my scatter brain was winning that day and I must have upgraded to comfort instead.
