Circle to search delay is unbearable.

I just updated to 16.0.7.201 and am using 3 button layout with the latest update.

Circle to search glitches not popping up a quarter of the time and takes forever now for it to pop up. What the hell is the OP doing? Before this update, it would be instant. I use this feature numerous times a day and find this delay to be infuriating.

Any tips or suggestions on how to fix this? I'd roll back if I could, but apparently you can't anymore due to the anti-rollback policy.
