The ISO hate is getting tired
I’m gonna say it because clearly some people need to hear it: ISO posts are literally part of someone’s hobby. Like every collector has done one, benefited from one, or found a grail because somebody else wasn’t scared to post one.
The judgment around ISO posts in the doll community is so damn weird to me. Like… we’re all in the same boat. We all know what it’s like to be missing that one doll from a line, something that’s hard to find, the one that haunts your saved searches and just mocks you from other people’s shelf photos. Acting like someone is “doing too much” for saying they’re looking for a doll is crazy.
Half the dolls in my collection came from my ISO list. That’s how the community works. People trade, people sell, people help each other complete lines. It’s not really that deep.
And let’s be real, serious collectors aren’t out here lowballing or playing games. If someone says ISO, nine times out of ten they already know the condition issues and the price range They’re not being clueless. They’re hunting for a doll they really want so bad.
So yeah, ISO posts are fine. They’re normal. They’re part of collecting. If you don’t like them, scroll. But don’t act brand new like you didn’t once pray someone would list a doll you’ve been searching for since 2012. And I also hate ISO lists gets reported a lot because i experience that.
May everyone’s ISO find its way home eventually.
