Knicks Fan violence narrative needs to stop. It feeds media and content creators to push it more for clicks adding fuel to the fire. We need to do better as a society.

It’s going to fall on deaf ears and blind eyes because this is the internet. But I’m so tired of Knicks fans this Knicks fans that.

Blanket statements covering an entire fan base just causes more hatred for each other that doesn’t even exist in the first place.

Let’s do the math (bigots hate math and facts but eh)
Let’s say at the bare minimum there at 1 million Knicks fans in the NYC metropolitan area. Realistically a lot higher but I’ll even skew against myself to prove a point.

Now let’s let’s say there’s 1000 crazy violent degenerate Knicks fans assaulting spurs fans on sight. Which is also unrealistically high. And I’ll even say let’s pretend these are legit die hard fans.

That’s 0.1 percent of Knicks Fans.

Not even one percent.

Use realistic numbers? Even lower.

But yeah. Keep saying Knicks fans are this and that.

Why it matters? Because it perpetuates hatred for a group of people for no reason. The crazies who feed on these violent rhetorics use the “hype” to attack on sight because in their idiot minds it feels justified.

Just like how there’s a new uprtick of Asian hate because of the actions of one man who runs a convenience store in South Carolina.

There’s content creators in Florida punching white people accusing them of being on the karmelo Anthony jury panel. In Florida. For a case that was tried in Texas.

Society needs to fucking do better than this.
