Going on vacation and will be staying 15 minutes from Fletcher. Any suggestions on things to do with the family?

Hello neighbors! Our family is taking vacation this summer and we will be staying about 15 minutes from fletcher. I know not all areas of nc have fully recovered from Helene. What are some suggestions from the locals for activities we could do nearby that would be good for a family with younger kids (under 10) that would also be supportive to the local economy?
We’re planning to go to biltmore but I’m not sure what else is in our plan yet. Any suggestions appreciated!
