Moving out to a different city

I moved out a year ago with multiple roommates I met via Facebook at 18. I have been with the same people, worked full time, and also did school online full-time.

I'm moving to a new area this year so that I can be in person at my university and meet peers my own age.

I'll be working part-time, yet it's doable (I'm financially fully independent) to pay my bills. I have enough to pay a couple months rent in this new area however because I do not have a current job in that area, I don't know what the right move to do is.
