How to store a wool coat during the warmer months?

I just bought a long, wool coat secondhand. I picked it up from the dry cleaners today, and now I am wondering how to store it during the summer. Usually I put my wool sweaters in a plastic bin with a snap on lid. Can I store a wool coat the same wear? Will folding it cause creases or ruin the fabric at all?
