got banned from r/batushka
I got banned for saying that it's normal for fans to expect and demand new music, though I understand the artistic value and passion behind Derph's creation and I understand that he's prioritizing other things in his life right now.
I said that people who think about Batushka merely as an experimental project are coping with getting no new music. Once the artist starts sharing his art with the world then he is expecting critique, demand and people who are as passionate about the music as he is.
Wanting more of it isn't a crazy ask from a fan, and it comes from a place of genuine interest and appreciation. As long as he doesn't openly claim that it was just an experiment for him, this is where I'll stand.
And quite frankly, those same fans are the ones upset about people listening to other bands (so called Faketushkas) when they're getting no new music to be excited about and it's just stupid.
Am I crazy for this?
