First mental health breakdown in years and disappeared without a trace for 2 weeks. Advice

I have PTSD and Im very sensitive to psych meds. I had a situation 2 weeks ago of trying a new antidepressant and getting triggered the day after. It caused a severe agoraphobia and series of panic attacks in relation to all writing, speaking or being around any other person. I took myself off the medication, withdrew and I am now back to normal.

This sort of situation has not happened since 2019 and during that time period I was in a series of low responsibility entry level jobs. In those situations I was just fired within those couple of weeks pf radio silence and I moved forward.

However, Ive been pretty functional for years and now Im at a job with clients and responsibilities. I have also not been fired yet which is new for me in general but especially in this circumstance.

How on earth do I explain this sort of situation to my boss and my clients in a professional way? Personal matters or sick relative excuses do not feel like enough for 2 weeks of radio silence to me. Do I quit? Do I just show up again with no explanation?

(Ive consulted mental health professionals but the ones I asked were at a loss and said that they might be able to get me disability accommodations) I am looking for advice on the real life conversation.
