Bangle size — looser or tighter fit preferred?

Hi! Excited to invest in my first solid gold bangle, but I’m having a really hard time deciding what size to get. I’m an indecisive person as it is, so it’s extra tough when making a large purchase 🥲.

My wrist measures 15cm exactly, so I’m torn between a 16cm and 17cm bracelet.

I got the 16cm but now I’m worried it’s too tight/small, as catches on my wrist bone. I’ve read +1cm is good for a closer fit and +2cm is good for a looser fit, so I don’t think either choice is “wrong”, but I want to be comfortable and happy day to day.

If you have a Cartier love bracelet or similar, can you tell me what you opted for? And if you regret it? Lol.

If it matters, I’m getting the messika move bracelet:).
