It was good but...

the song structure. i have never listened to an album where i could predict the song structure 10 seconds into the song

it go like this

intro verse -> chorus -> verse -> chorus -> bridge -> chorus

​

and the production was almost mimicking this structure too, it felt like she made the cure first and then tried to replicate that 12 times but did it wrong

its waaaaaaaay too noticeable and it almost ruined the listening experience for me, when the song is slow and calm there has to be large lyrical content to cover it up, but there just wasnt any at all, verses felt too short and almost like she was rushing to get to the chorus again

only songs where i didnt care or didnt notice were the cure (top 1) and expectations (top 2)

dont get me wrong i think the album was good but especially the 2nd half was too slow and low energy for the lyrical content

i know that structure is the average structure for a song but when you do that one exactly 13 times in a row i just can help but notice and get annoyed

ps: the lyrics were actually really good the only problem with them was the repetition and length, she can definitely write it was just a matter of placement
