Hornworms, mealworms, superworms, dubias care
Ok. I took in the bearded dragon a few months ago and now have been working on building my own food supply. I need your help!
What is the best setup for meal worms to thrive? Same with superworms (separate of course) and once they turn into beetle will they naturally procreate or should i have those fancy breeding boxes from Amazon. Should I separate the worm from the next stage and the beetle stage? I've been feeding them oats, carrots, cucumbers, collard greens.
Same with hornworms? I hate these plastic containers, is there something better? And once they turn color and get ready to change what should be in the new enclosure for them? Do they lay something to create baby worms once they are moths? And what is the best non-toxic food for them so they won't make the beardie sick
I have a nice big tote of thriving dubias. They have a heat pad, some organic made chow specific for them, bee pollen, carrots, cucumbers, collard greens, they appear very happy. I see a couple males and a few dozen females have matured, and not sure what their breeding looks like but I think they are good. Well take suggestive
