What are your thoughts on idlers..

I’m cleaning up some trash from around a school yard and park and there’s a car from Kansas sat right at the children’s playground idling their car for the last hour. It’d be warm in the car for sure today, so I imagine the driver is just using their AC - but idling really bothers me - it seems like such a waste of resources but also a net negative for everyone else around. Especially because we’re literally a block from Dallas Rd where rolling down your windows would give you a nice comfortable breeze.

What do you do in these kinda situations? Do you politely tell the driver that we don’t do that in BC, or just kinda leave it?
