Post norethindrone chaos

I had a hysteroscopic myomectomy 9 days ago. I wasn’t offered sedation and was giving an Ativan and Motrin. It was barbaric and one of the worst experience ever! I was on 10mg norethindrone (Gallifrey) for 24 days before the procedure to try to control heavy bleeding. My doctor told me to stop the meds cold turkey the day of the procedure, which I did. Since then I am miserable, I can’t sleep, have extreme anxiety, and consistently high blood pressure (150s/100s). Doctor started me on amlodipine to try to help the blood pressure but it’s not working yet. Has anyone else come off of norethindrone and had a similar experience? I’m hoping my blood pressure is from the hormonal chaos and it will settle, but I’m scared.
