Starting your first job in your mid-late 20s

Is starting your first job mid-late 20s weird? I mean I get that we have our own life and pace but in reality, does it affect how people perceive you at work? Will you attract unwanted attention for starting your first job unconventionally later than others? Your seniors might be younger than you etc. Do you feel ashamed of sharing how old you are at work when asked? Curious what you guys keep in mind when thoughts like this come across.
