New to game

Hello im fairly new to game and im trying to play support, got recently level 18 and been trying out draft pick.

But the last 2-5 matches i notice all the profiles look different compared to mine and i see it stands gold or emerald 1-5 on all other players almost.

Most of this players seems quite much more skilled then me and im unsure how to actually help my team as i feel like i die alot compared to others and i dont get to many kills or assist.

in the start i feel like i did decent but im slowly doing worse

Is this normal , should i try to do ranked to get emerald and gold ? but i cant do rank yet , need level 30 it seems?
