Anyone else watch AKOTSK and feel it would make a great movie? Well, so did I!

In this Re-edit, I shorten the first season of the show into this stand-alone movie. While the series probably could be it's own movie unedited, it would make it too long (3.5 hours) for a typical movie and at that point it would just be better to watch the show anyhow.

The runtime here is 2 hours 30 minutes which runs at a streamlined, plot focused pace. While editing the movie, I partially used a movie like 'Gladiator' to guide the pace and length of this story.

Some of the more important changes (spoilers below):

\- I removed some of the unnecessary poop humor. While I understand some people like poop humor, I feel like it conflicts too much with the tone of the story being told (especially at the beginning). Though, not all the humor is gone, I keep most of it where appropriate.

\- I removed the subplot about Dunk being asked fix his match. The series doesn't really go anywhere with that because the events of the trail-by-combat essentially supersedes the tournament. Also, I feel them telling Dunk their plan to tank the match was completely unnecessary. If they wanted to win a bet by losing to Dunk, there is NO reason to tell the person you're going to lose to on purpose to them. All that does is open the door to their opponent spilling the beans. As such, that plot was completely unncesseary, especially considering the main plot of the story doesn't really need it. As a result, that removal allowed a good chunk of time to streamline the movie.

\- I removed the flashback in Fleabottom. While that scene is mostly amazing and adds important context, the scene works better for a TV series than a movie. That scene completely halts the momentum of the Trial-by-Combat and takes too much time for a movie. The movie would be 3+ hours with it and spending too much time near the end on that part. I attempted putting it earlier in the edit, but it doesn't feel earned at the beginning and sort of ruins some of the plot payoffs. As such, if it stays it would need to be where it is in the show, but it also can't be where it is in the show, since if it were a movie because that scene doesn't work (for the reasons stated before).

\- I edited out the part about Egg sneaking to go on the adventure with Dunk at the end. I feel thematically it makes the most sense that Egg's father would allow him to ride with Dunk. It also makes Egg not learn his lesson from his actions earlier in the story. He lied to Dunk in the beginning and if he lies to stay with Dunk again, he just does the exact thing from earlier. Instead it should have been with his father's permission to adventure with Dunk. Imo, his father would have accepted it because he heeded Dunks advice that Egg needs to not sleep on silk sheets.

Other scenes were streamlined, hopefully mostly unnoticeably

Hope people enjoy it!
