Cutter / Plotter for Teacher Ressources / Material?

Teacher Support &/or Advice

Hello, everyone. What kind of plotter should a elementary school teacher get if she has a lot of pre-printed materials that she wants to laminate and cut?

Here’s the background: My friend has a lot of pre-printed, pre-made, or pre-designed materials that she just wants to print, laminate, and then cut. She tried the Brother Scan & Cut once, but it kept feeding the laminated material incorrectly, or when peeling it off the adhesive mat, the laminated elements would stick to the bottom, effectively splitting the paper in half. That made things more complicated, and she had to reprint everything. The scanning feature is, of course, super handy. Now the question is, which plotter makes sense? Cricut or Cameo 5 / Cameo Alpha? Please share your experiences or offer advice.
