The current state of racials isn't great

I'm an M+ player, not sure if this is a problem in raiding. I know it's historically been an issue in PvP as well. Right now, it feels like I'm nerfing myself if I'm not playing Nelf or Dwarf. I'm Horde ride-or-die, I love my characters, and I don't want to have to reroll or faction-swap.

I could play a Nelf and be able to negate deadly mechanics, do some dungeon skips, or save myself if I end up with aggro, but in contrast my Belf can wipe the group in a couple of dungeons. Seems fair ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There are so many cool things they could do with racials. Just remove all combat influence, make some deco recipes race-exclusive, have Dracthyr Soar function like Druid Travel Form, give Nightborne a 1-minute CD teleport to a portal hub in Suramar, etc. A lot of fun utility and open-world flavor could revive some races and make them feel cool again.
