Reservation in PG exam
I’m in support for reservation in UG exams in order to provide equal opportunities for everyone. But is it really needed for a masters degree? When everyone competing has already completed MBBS and is a doctor, then what is the need.
Internship was really hectic for us. I could barely get any time to study for NEET pg but still I tried my best. Even in OPD whenever I got time in between patients I would try to study. But my friend who had reservation was pretty chill though. He spent his time on Instagram in that free time. Didn’t prepare much. He got a rank approx double of mine around 60k i guess and is now pursuing MD dermatology. I had half that rank and didn’t get shit in counseling and I’m taking a drop now.
I mean I just wonder that same MBBS degree, same college, same internship, same books and same 24 hours in the day, then why is it needed for PG entrance exam.
I know it’s a sensitive topic and I’m not trying to hurt anyone here but please do tell me if I am missing a point here.
