Wondering exactly what the q25 can and can’t do

Really interested in getting a q25 kit to hold me over until the clicks communicator comes out later this year, but I feel like there’s a million different answers online for what works and what doesn’t work so I’m just wondering if anyone who knows the phone well can help me figure out if the q25 fits my needs well enough.

First thing is rcs, does it work out of the box or do you need to root it? I’ve seen both on the discord

Carriers: Im on AT&T in the us can I expect to just pop my sim in and have it work?

Banking apps: I know banking apps can be finicky with alot of non-conventional android stuff, especially custom roms so I’m wondering if my bank Chase is known to work or not

And idk anything else you can think of that I should know. I don’t have super crazy needs, and honestly rcs and banking aren’t a huge deal breaker for me I just wanna know what I’m buying. Looking really for just what people used to love blackberries for which is just emailing texting and calling, with the extra perks of android. :)
