Work won’t accept my unenrollled deed poll

Hello all,

I’m changing my first name only in England. I’ve updated my driving licence and bank details. However, I’m trying to change my name at work but they won’t accept my unenrolled deed poll. I’m uncomfortable getting an enrolled deed poll which they call a “red-stamped” one. Is there any way around this?

I have spoken with my colleague and they have informed that you will need to take your deed poll (red stamped) to the relevant department so they can update their records.
 
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept anything other than the official stamped document.
