55 inch or 65 inch?

I currently have a 43-inch TV and I'm looking to upgrade, but I'm stuck between a 55-inch and a 65-inch model.

My viewing distance is about 5 meters (around 16.5 feet). My concern is that a 55-inch TV might be too small from that distance, especially for movies and gaming. On the other hand, I'm worried that a 65-inch TV could feel overwhelmingly large in my living room since I'm used to a much smaller screen.

Has anyone gone from a 43-inch TV to either a 55-inch or 65-inch at a similar viewing distance? Did the 65-inch feel too big at first, or did you get used to it quickly? Would a 55-inch be enough at 5 meters, or would you regret not going larger?
