Candida albicans question? Prescribed met. And flu.

They prescribed me fluconazole *and* metronidazole. Which I’m confused about — given that my BV test results came in negative, I only tested positive for candida.

Im more worried that the usage of the antibiotics will worsen my yeast infection symptoms. The whole reason this ordeal started was because back in October I took antibiotics for my UTI.

Im calling my pharmacist and dr later to ask, but I was just wondering if using both of those, as well as boric acid daily for a couple weeks, would be effective in treating whatever I have.
