[Solo Dev] Spent 9 months building a 30-second AI classifieds platform. It's live, but traction is flat. Need your honest feedback.
Hey everyone. I’m a local developer (7 YOE) and I’ve spent the last 9 months building Qinto—a local buying and selling platform.
The Core Product: I wanted to completely remove the friction of posting ads.
The USP: Users don't need to write a title or description. They just upload a photo of their item, and the AI handles the text and categorization in under 30 seconds. The platform is entirely free for users.
The Tech Stack: I built the web platform in React and the mobile app in Flutter.
The Problem: The apps are live in production, the AI generation works smoothly, but the traction is flat. When users do land on the site, they aren't sticking around. It feels like the platform is just being ignored, and I am too close to the code to see the obvious flaws.
My Ask: I would really appreciate it if other builders could look at this with fresh eyes and give me some genuine, honest feedback on why a user might bounce.
- Is the UI/UX lacking trust or polish?
- Is the 'phone verification to chat' step (there in mobile) creating too much friction?
- What is fundamentally missing that would make someone close the tab without trying the AI poster?

I really appreciate any insights you can share before I start spending on user acquisition!"
