Scream 8 opening scene

You know what I would love for the opening scene of the next scream film? Instead of the usual “opening kill” we get a flashback scene. Let’s say Scream 8 comes out in 2028, the movie starts and the music goes BOOM and it says 33 years ago and it’s the night Maureen Prescott was murdered then after it shows back it goes back to the present day. This to me would be a great opening, it’s something we never saw as it happened a year before the events of the first Scream.
