Investing, mutual funds vs index funds
I saw this posted video by Dave and thought it was interesting:

Dave does mention index funds and Bogle. This philosophy I more identify with for less risk. He still likes to advocate his 4 types of mutual funds that could do better than the S&P 500.
He is mainly all about having less risk so wouldn't the lowest risk be passive investing, to invest in an index fund that tracks the S&P 500 and call it a day?
Whether I earn 11% vs 13% a year, it's not that big of a difference long term. If you happen to choose the wrong mutual funds you could do worse than the S&P 500.
I think Dave should change his teaching to invest in a broad market index fund for lowest risk.
