alien 3 - i have a wild theory (Aliens part 2)

With a ship as sophisticated as the sulaco ship is, it appears massive.

What if after the marines depart, a second science team wake up and go straight to the hive ship co-ordinates, that newts parents are at and there is a whole sulaco ship escapade of them getting picked off by their usual human error selves and results in the egg being left unattended after Ripley, Hicks, Newt and Bishop go into stasis.

It would give me some sort of "a-ha" moment that explains rather than "the queen brought it" were expected to believe.

I dunno it's how I sleep at night knowing WY had a back-up in case Burke failed.
